2. What we process and why
This site has no forms. The data processed is:
- Your email address and the content of your message, if you write to any of the published addresses. Purpose: answering your enquiry, preparing quotes or handling job applications. Legal basis: your consent and pre-contractual measures.
- Technical browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), logged automatically by the server. Purpose: security and site operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
We do not build profiles or make automated decisions, and we use no analytics tools of our own.
3. Retention
Emails are kept for the duration of the relationship and thereafter for the applicable statutory limitation periods. Server logs are kept for the hosting provider's standard period.
4. Recipients and international transfers
We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. The following providers are involved:
- Web hosting provider: CDmon (Spain)
- Email provider: Google Workspace (Google LLC). Like the video providers below, this involves an international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, covered by Google's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Framerate and Mux, video hosting and playback platforms. When you play a project video, your IP address and technical playback data are sent to these providers, which use servers in the United States, and also to Google (Google Tag Manager), loaded by the player itself. This constitutes an international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area.
5. Cookies and device storage
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no browser local storage. There is no analytics, no advertising pixels and no embedded social media.
The one exception is the project pages: loading the video player causes Framerate to set a technical security cookie (__cf_bm, from Cloudflare, expiring in under a day), and services from Mux and Google associated with the player are loaded.
6. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to privacy@houseofarcade.xyz, stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of an identity document.
If you believe the processing does not comply with the applicable rules, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
